Job Summary
Support the People & Culture function as a Human Resources Generalist, administering HRIS records, onboarding, and benefits, managing leaves (FMLA, WA Paid Family Leave) and COBRA, handling unemployment claims, conducting employee-relations investigations, contributing to HR policy development, and supporting recruitment activities and open enrollment. Maintain and analyze HR data, generate reports for leadership, and ensure compliance with EEO, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, OSHA, and related laws while engaging with bus-yard/hub locations to support a positive, regulated, and inclusive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2-year degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Experience working within an HRIS system (Paycom a plus)
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Experience in the administration of Human Resources programs and benefits
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows and Office environment; strong Excel ability
- Effective oral and written communication
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining confidentiality and privacy
- Comfortable leading and communicating at all levels of the organization
