Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for leading and executing HR functions at the assigned manufacturing plant. Key responsibilities include talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, safety leadership, compliance, and benefits administration. The role involves collaboration with plant managers to develop HR strategies, advising on workforce planning, coaching on conflict resolution and performance management, and enhancing employee engagement. Critical skills include interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of state employment laws. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required along with 5 years in a similar role.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years in a Human Resources Generalist role supporting a small organization
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail & organizational skills
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations specific to the state
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems, experience with UKG preferred
- Bi-lingual Spanish required
