Job Summary
HR Generalist to support core HR operations including employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, HR compliance, data management and reporting; serves as a point of contact for benefits, payroll, leave requests, and policy interpretation; administer employee benefits and coordinate open enrollment, orientation, and retirement/benefits discussions; manage onboarding/offboarding activities and HRIS steps; assist in talent acquisition and collaborate with managers on job requirements and hiring process; conduct or assist with compliance tasks such as I-9 audits and EEO-1 filings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in Human Resources field or HR support role (including internships or relevant academic experience)
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP WFN, Paycom or similar platforms) preferred and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite required
- Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and build positive relationships with employees across all levels
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and accountability
- Demonstrates a solutions-oriented mindset, approaching challenges with curiosity and a willingness to learn
