Job Summary
The Human Resource Generalist will perform HR duties at a professional level in a plant setting, partnering with management and the HR team to manage training, reporting, recruiting, onboarding, policy implementation, and employee relations. Responsibilities include administering compensation and benefits, handling disciplinary matters and investigations, maintaining confidential personnel files, producing monthly headcount and training reports, supporting advertising and recruitment for hourly roles, coordinating employee engagement events and benefit enrollment, assisting with HRIS (WFM) data integrity for hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers, driving positive employee relations programs for the US plant, and supporting performance and talent development initiatives. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, experience with HRIS platforms, and the ability to manage multiple projects and compliance tasks. Prefers a Bachelor’s and optionally a Master’s degree, plus SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification and manufacturing experience.
