Job Summary
HR Generalist at Pero Family Farms in Stuart, FL; supports HR functions at the Stuart facility including payroll, compliance, workers’ compensation, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training, benefits administration, HRIS data, and HR-related communications. Collaborates with HQ, recruitment for staffing, maintains employee records, ensures regulatory compliance, and assists with payroll and timekeeping; requires 3+ years HR experience, Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills; bilingual in Spanish/Haitian-Creole preferred; SHRM-CP/PHR preferred. Occasional travel may be required; onsite role with standard business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in human resources roles, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
- Prior experience in payroll administration, including processing payroll, reviewing timesheets, and addressing payroll inquiries
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Bilingual in Spanish/Haitian-Creole preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
