Job Summary
Human Resources Generalist responsible for HR operations, compliance, benefits administration, and HR data management in a hybrid Knoxville, TN role. Responsibilities include maintaining compliant employee records, audits of HR data and employment practices, unemployment and workers’ comp coordination, benefits enrollment reconciliation, BambooHR administration, open enrollment support, onboarding/offboarding coordination, employee communications, and EOS-aligned process standardization. Requires hands-on execution, policy adherence, and the ability to coordinate across recruiting, onboarding, documentation, and employee relations while ensuring accuracy, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2–5+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or HR Operations role
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
- Experience administering benefits and managing HR systems (BambooHR preferred)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 suite
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and sound judgment
- Process-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
