Job Summary
Oversee all Human Resources functions for the site to ensure goals and objectives are met, reporting to the site Program Director and District Human Resources Director. Manage employee relations, training, and employment initiatives while maintaining knowledge of Federal and State employment law, HR policies, and governmental licensing requirements. Conduct interviews for potential employees as needed and coordinate background checks, including criminal history, child abuse registry, drug screening, physical, and TB tests. Work five days on/two days off. Join a team of advocates improving lives of high-risk male youth aged 14 to 18 through evidence-based behavioral and mental health services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related field
- Two years of Human Resources experience
- Six years of equivalent experience as a Human Resources Generalist
- Minimum of two years of human resources experience in employee relations, training and/or employment
- Knowledge of Federal and State employment law
- Knowledge of Human Resources policies and practices
- Knowledge of governmental licensing requirements
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to pass a child abuse registry check
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to pass a physical
- Ability to pass a TB test
- Five days on/two days off schedule availability
