Job Summary
Human Resources Generalist responsible for supporting daily HR operations, including comparing HR laws to policies, drafting HR templates, and overseeing hiring and onboarding. Essential functions include conducting background checks and employee eligibility verifications; facilitating hiring and onboarding; assisting with new hire orientation and documentation; handling inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; reviewing personnel files for compliance; administering HR programs (compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, performance and talent management); providing back-up for payroll processing (timecards, PTO, bonuses, benefits changes); assisting with communication and upkeep of employee handbook and company policies; and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least two years related experience required
