Job Summary
HR Generalist responsible for onboarding, employee communications, HR operations, and lifecycle administration across multi-state environment in a hybrid Cincinnati-based role. Leads new employee orientations, prepares onboarding materials, maintains HR communications, supports HR systems, and collaborates with Payroll, IT, and Talent Acquisition to ensure onboarding readiness. Maintains HR records, documents, SOPs, and compliance-related activities; serves as a primary point of contact for employee questions and supports multi-state employment compliance and confidentiality. Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, experience with HRIS platforms, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- PHR certification
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, People Operations, or a related HR function
- Experience supporting employee onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, and HR operations processes
- Experience working in a multi-state employment environment
- Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and confidentiality standards
- Experience utilizing HRIS platforms (ADP experience preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular onsite presence in Cincinnati, Ohio
Desired Qualifications
- Experience facilitating onboarding programs
- Experience managing HR communications and templates
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms
- Experience with Greenhouse or other applicant tracking/onboarding systems
- Experience supporting remote, hybrid, and onsite employee populations
- Experience in a multi-state employment environment
- PHR certification
- Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, technology, or highly technical workforces
- Experience creating HR communications, SOPs, and employee-facing documentation
- Familiarity with SharePoint and employee communication platforms
