Job Summary
Manage day-to-day HR operations including recruitment for hourly roles, onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, and employee relations. Conduct interviews, coordinate pre-employment processes, and ensure ATS updates and data integrity in the HRIS. Administer routine tasks such as pay changes, PTO audits, and benefits enrollment while supporting the Total Rewards team. Resolve workplace issues, mediate conflicts, and guide managers on disciplinary actions and terminations. Stay current with employment laws, update HR policies, and maintain accurate employee records. Analyze HR data for decision-making, create internal communications, and conduct exit interviews. Provide backup coverage for reception and perform other duties as assigned. Travel between York and Wellsville locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Passion for working in a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal
- Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and employee advocacy
- Strong influencing skills with ability to build trust, gain buy-in, and effectively guide managers and employees toward desired outcomes
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow within the HR field
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to follow-through and accuracy
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and assessment
- Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available
- Regular attendance required

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field from accredited college or university
- HR Certificate (PHR, SHRM-CP)
- Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written communication)
- Proficient with HRIS/ATS systems - experience with ADP Workforce Now and iCIMS
- Passion for working in a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing environment
