Job Summary
Conduct daily human resources functions at an active mine site, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management. Manage the talent acquisition pipeline by sourcing candidates, attending job fairs, and developing passive talent while maintaining social media presence. Administer compliance programs such as I-9s and DOT files, audit Dayforce HRIS data, and lead disciplinary investigations. Maintain visible presence on the plant floor to address employment inquiries, facilitate team huddles, and coordinate special events. Establish 30/60/90-day check-ins with new hires and provide coaching to supervisors on interviewing and career planning. Requires Monday through Friday onsite presence with potential exposure to uneven terrain and varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- Minimum of two years' experience human resource experience of principles, practices, and procedures
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Monday - Friday onsite required
- This position is based at an active mine site and requires daily onsite presence

Desired Qualifications
- aPHR or similar certification preferred
