Human Resources Generalist / Office Manager

Job Summary
Manage the full employee lifecycle for plant staff, including full-cycle recruitment, benefits administration, compliance tracking, and performance management. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, advising managers on employment issues and promoting a high level of morale. Process unemployment claims, medical support orders, worker's compensation claims, and FMLA requests while ensuring accurate data compilation for government compliance. Utilize HRIS modules to maintain current records, administer annual reviews, and facilitate employee engagement through event planning and surveys. Own the recruitment process for plant positions and oversee general office administration, including stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and handling guest calls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in HR or people operations roles, with a focus on compensation, benefits, compliance, and worker's compensation
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity

Desired Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, employment laws, and worker's, compensation regulations
- Proficiency in HRIS software (Paylocity) and Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail
