Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary
Maintain HRIS systems, employee files, and the Myers Intranet site while answering HR-related questions and onboarding or offboarding staff. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly payroll reports and administer workers compensation claims to ensure compliance. Recruit and retain talent through job fairs, structured interviews, and satisfaction surveys, while delivering new employee orientations and policy briefings. Enforce changes to policies aligned with Federal and State statutes and train staff on mandated safety topics. Meet with employees, vendors, and guests to build relationships and coordinate events for business needs. Requires a bachelor's degree, three to five years of experience, and PHR or SPHR certification.

- Proficient computer skills

- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to speak effectively to management, vendors, and employees of organization
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, vendors, and the general public
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
