Job Summary
Human Resources Generalist to support staff and supervisors with compliance, reporting, HR operations, training and development, performance management, and employee relations. Partners with the HR Manager to advance HR initiatives, coordinates onboarding and supervisor training, maintains policies and procedures, supports documentation and reporting, administers training content in the LMS, assists with recruiting as a backup, and promotes an equitable workplace aligned with the agency’s values. Requires collaboration across HR functions, strong communication, and ability to work across multiple office locations with a hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3–5 years of progressive HR experience including performance management, employee relations, and training and development
- Experience supporting supervisors and staff in a professional setting; nonprofit sector experience preferred
- Knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)
- SHRM-CP or equivalent certification preferred but not required
