Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist will manage the daily functions of the HR Department across multiple facilities, enforcing policies and practices, collaborating with facility leadership and the HR Director to ensure confidentiality and consistency, and assisting with complex administrative tasks. Strong discretion, independent judgment, and experience in healthcare/hospitality environments with union experience are key; responsibilities include policy enforcement, employee relations, onboarding and coordination with leadership for talent and organizational development, and maintaining confidentiality in all HR activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience (2+ years of related experience)
- Degree in PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
- Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community
- Experience working in a union environment
