Job Summary
Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing positions and manage staffing agency partnerships to meet production staffing needs. Facilitate onboarding for new hires, resolve team member relations issues with confidentiality, and coach supervisors on performance management and attendance. Serve as a trusted resource for HR policies, benefits, payroll, and workplace concerns while maintaining accurate records and supporting workers' compensation return-to-work plans. Partner with leaders on workforce planning and reporting initiatives. Based on-site in Owatonna, Minnesota, this role supports a team of 400–450 members within the manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or similar operational environment
- Experience recruiting hourly manufacturing, production, warehouse, or distribution team members
- Experience managing staffing agency relationships and contingent workforce programs
- Knowledge of team member relations practices and employment law
- Strong communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- On-site presence throughout the manufacturing facility
- Eye and hearing protection in designated production areas
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Experience with Workday, UKG, or similar HRIS systems
- SHRM or HRCI certification
