Job Summary
Own the recruiting process for non-exempt positions, including posting roles, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing background checks. Execute the onboarding/orientation cycle from screening through 90-day check-ins while maintaining personnel files and HRIS data integrity. Administer performance management cycles, employee relations investigations, and disciplinary processes. Manage benefits administration, payroll coordination, and compliance with federal and state training mandates. Oversee employee engagement surveys, communications, and recognition programs while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and worker's compensation protocols. Operate daily in a 24/7 chemical production environment with a focus on confidentiality and ethical workforce management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- 2 or more years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Prior experience working in a Human Resources department in a 24/7 manufacturing organization
- Working knowledge of basic Human Resources principles, practices, laws and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively manage the company's current HR technology suite
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- This role is in-person every day
- This role is in a 24/7 chemical production environment
