Job Summary
Conduct prompt, fair workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, and performance concerns while recommending corrective actions. Administer all aspects of leave management including FMLA, ADA interactive processes, workers' compensation, and state programs in compliance with federal and local regulations. Partner with managers on performance improvement plans, coaching, documentation, and employee development. Maintain accurate employee records in Paycom, create HR reports and dashboards, and audit workforce data for accuracy. Assist with onboarding, transitions, and offboarding while supporting organizational initiatives and process improvement projects. Work Monday through Thursday in-office with Friday remote, reporting to a collaborative HR team at a leading manufacturer of plastic pipe.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience
- Strong employee relations experience
- Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations
- Extensive knowledge of FMLA administration
- Experience with ADA accommodations and the interactive process
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws
- Experience coaching managers on employee relations and performance management
- Experience working in an HRIS; Paycom experience is strongly preferred
- Manufacturing or multi-site HR experience is highly desirable
