Job Summary
HR Generalist provides compliance, reporting, HR operations, and learning & development support across the agency. Partners with the HR Manager to administer onboarding, supervisor training, compliance training, performance management, and employee relations, using the learning management system; serves as backup to the HR Coordinator on recruiting activities; helps maintain staff handbook and HR policies; supports ADA accommodations, compensation projects, and HR data reporting; collaborates with staff and leadership to strengthen organizational effectiveness and workplace practices; works from Saint Paul and Golden Valley offices in a hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of progressive HR experience
- Experience supporting supervisors and staff in a professional setting; nonprofit sector experience preferred
- Knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)
- SHRM-CP or equivalent certification preferred but not required
