Job Summary
HR Generalist to serve as an internal customer support business partner for the production plant. Responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting, onboarding and new hire orientation, hiring into the HRIS, FMLA/WA PFML state programs, payroll and timekeeping oversight, employee records management, and policy administration across the employee life cycle. Provides day-to-day HR support, employee relations and engagement activities (town halls, recognition events, United Way campaigns, holiday celebrations), oversees terminations, wellness initiatives, and ensures compliance with federal and Washington state laws. Requires detail orientation, ability to multitask, confidentiality, and advanced Excel; Bachelor’s in a related field with 1-3 years of experience; SHRM/PHR certification a plus. Location: Orting, WA (on-site manufacturing environment). In-office role with exempt status and a salary range of $72,000–$78,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources related field
- 1-3 years of experience
- MS Office Skills required – Advance Excel Skills preferred
- SHRM or PHR Certification a Plus but not required
