Job Summary
HR Generalist role providing administrative and human resources support to the HR Department. Responsibilities include recruiting, selection, benefits processing, open enrollment and life events documentation, benefits record maintenance and data transfer to payroll, benefit billing validation, scheduling/training coordination, safety program support (manuals, incident reporting, workers’ compensation claims, emergency drills), updating HR documents and policies, and collaborating with management on personnel policies. Requires HRIS experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe tools (Photoshop, Canva, PDF handling), strong written and verbal communication, data analysis for HR reporting, and ability to travel for General Conference and events. Located in Weldon Spring, MO.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s in human resources or related degree preferred
- 5 years of experience preferred
- Experience with or ability to learn a human resources information system
- Experience with or ability to learn Adobe (PDF documents)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience creating promotional content with Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc., preferred
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Experience with organization, record keeping, and customer service
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of administrative office procedures and terminology
- Ability to work well within a team and across various departments
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Industry-specific training, certifications, or education with an aPHR or PHR or ability to acquire within one year
