Job Summary
Human Resources Generalist in an on-site role in Burbank, CA, partnering with the HR Sr. Manager to support day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and people initiatives across the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities include handling employee relations matters and investigations, accommodations, workplace injuries, policy concerns, and building trusted relationships with employees, managers, and senior production leaders. You'll lead the employee lifecycle (recruiting through offboarding), ensure California employment-law compliance, support culture-building and process improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Production to deliver a seamless employee experience. Requires 4–6 years of HR Generalist/People Ops experience, strong communication and relationship skills, HRIS experience, and availability to work on-site in Burbank. Production/entertainment experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of progressive HR Generalist or People Operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Strong working knowledge of California employment law, leave administration, employee classifications, and HR best practices
- Available to work on-site in Burbank five days a week
- Experience with HRIS platforms and HR technology (Justworks, BambooHR, Greenslate, Google Workspace or similar) is a plus
