Job Summary
Human Resources Generalist at the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts leads HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and administrative operations. Responsibilities include administering FMLA/ADA/Parental Leave claims handling and related documentation, workers’ compensation cases, unemployment claims, and compliance audits; managing recruitment, job postings, job fairs, interviews, offers, background checks, onboarding, and training; administering HR programs related to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary actions, investigations, performance, morale, safety, and training; maintaining personnel records, supporting disciplinary meetings and investigations, updating policies and handbooks, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, commitment to compliance, inclusive recruitment, problem-solving, and strong communication and data-analysis skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of professional experience in an office environment
- 4 years of human resources experience
- Any certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute or the Society for Human Resource Management
- Any equivalent combination of education, certification, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
