Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary
Administer HR programs, policies, and procedures while responding to employee inquiries and establishing a safe environment for open engagement. Manage end-to-end talent acquisition activities, including sourcing, recruitment, onboarding, and coordinating intern programs, while maintaining accurate applicant tracking data. Facilitate employee relations processes, performance management, and exit interviews under HR management guidance. Provide guidance on benefits, leave programs, and immigration processes, and conduct routine audits to ensure data integrity. Generate and analyze HR metrics for leadership and support strategic staffing decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, diploma, or certificate from an accredited degree program in Human Resources or related field
- minimum of 3 years of related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- CPHR designation is considered an asset
- Construction or construction-related industries, or experience in large-sized organizations
- Knowledge of Human Resources policies, operations, and processes
- High degree of integrity, maintain confidential information, and exercise discretion
- Professional verbal and written business communication skills
- Effective active listening skills and follow-up practices
- Strong organizational, time management, prioritization, and project management skills
- Understand continuous improvement methods and tools
- Possess solid problem solving and analytical capabilities

- Approachable and effectively interact with all employee levels and management
