Job Summary
Resolve specialized Team Member requests and advise leaders on day-to-day people matters across Corporate, Chewy Vet Care, and Customer Care organizations. Interpret HR policies to assess concerns, gather facts, and determine appropriate next steps or escalations. Conduct structured intake conversations, document findings objectively, and coach leaders on performance concerns and disciplinary actions. Analyze workforce data and feedback to identify patterns, facilitate listening sessions, and translate trends into actionable insights for stakeholders. Maintain data integrity across HR systems, ensure case records are current, and develop practical solutions to improve consistency and efficiency. Coordinate training on HR policies and tools while managing a high-volume workload with strong prioritization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of progressive core human resources experience
- Experience supporting Team Member relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and core HR processes
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret workforce data, identify meaningful trends, and translate insights into clear recommendations
- Strong ownership, prioritization, attention to detail, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and change
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive personal and business information
- Position may require occasional travel
