Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary
Manage employee lifecycle transactions including promotions, transfers, terminations, and offboarding cycles, ensuring accurate documentation and system updates. Coordinate position requisitions, headcount administration, and workforce tracking tools to maintain current records. Support employee relations matters, performance management processes, and quarterly survey reporting while providing day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees. Maintain confidential HR information and records in compliance with legal requirements. Work Monday through Friday in The Woodlands, TX, with up to 25% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have dependable transportation to commute to the worksite consistently
- Successfully passes all applicable pre-employment testing, including background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any required aptitude and/or competency assessment(s)
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- 3-year U.S. driving history
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience in lieu of a formal degree
- 2+ years of human resources experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with integrity, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with managers, employees, and cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, and HR practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems
- Ability to maintain accurate spreadsheets, trackers, reports, and employee documentation
- Successfully completes New Hire Safety Orientation and annual recertification
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs independently
- Must be available for early morning, late evenings, and weekends

- SHRM-CP or PHR certification
