Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary

Manage employee lifecycle transactions including promotions, transfers, terminations, and offboarding cycles with accurate documentation and system updates. Coordinate position and headcount administration while maintaining workforce tracking tools and HR records in compliance with legal requirements. Support employee relations investigations and performance management processes through case tracking and follow-up with managers. Lead quarterly survey reporting, analyze workforce trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Provide day-to-day HR guidance to employees and cross-functional teams, ensuring timely completion of personnel actions and administrative tasks. Maintain accurate spreadsheets and employee documentation while adhering to company policies and applicable laws.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have dependable transportation to commute to the worksite consistently.
  • Successfully passes all applicable pre-employment testing, including background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any required aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
  • Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3-year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • An equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • 2+ years of human resources experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with integrity, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with managers, employees, and cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, and HR practices.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Ability to maintain accurate spreadsheets, trackers, reports, and employee documentation.
  • Successfully completes New Hire Safety Orientation and annual recertification.
  • Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
  • The HR Generalist should be able to lift 25 lbs. independently

Desired Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
