Job Summary
Develop sourcing strategies, coach managers on hiring best practices, and lead end-to-end recruiting and onboarding, including group orientation events. Own the full recruiting function while supporting day-to-day generalist work spanning compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, performance management, and training. Streamline information flow and transparency across the recruiting process using the HRIS (Paycom). This role reports to the HR Manager within Auberle's Young Adult Services Department, supporting roughly 250 employees. The position requires Act 33/34 and FBI clearances, a Bachelor's degree, and 3+ years of progressive HR experience. Located in McKeesport with occasional travel, this full-time role offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Act 33/34 and FBI clearances
- Valid PA driver's license, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and progressive HR experience)
- 3+ years of progressive human resources experience
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, ACA, FLSA, ERISA, etc.)
- Experience with HRIS platforms; proficiency in data entry, reporting, and system navigation
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams)
- Experience developing or executing recruiting strategies, including sourcing, candidate pipeline development, or employer branding
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence, coach managers, and present information clearly to audiences at all levels
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Reliability and punctuality; this role requires consistent on-site presence
- Occasional travel to other sites or external events (job fairs, networking, meetings)
- All positions are also expected to attend training, meetings, and other events at Main Campus in McKeesport, as scheduled
Desired Qualifications
