Human Resources Generalist

Manage all human resource functions for the assigned location, including recruitment, new hire processing, benefits enrollment, and worker's compensation. Act as the primary employee contact for employment-related issues while making hiring decisions and conducting new employee orientations. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations to ensure policies, procedures, and records are in compliance. Develop recruitment strategies, manage background verifications, and conduct wage and benefits surveys. Research airport authorities and cities to determine special regulatory requirements regarding wages and benefits. Respond to inquiries regarding policies and programs, maintain local personnel files, and audit records for compliance. Become the authorized signatory for applications of badging for new hires and rebadging for current staff. Schedule involves working twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.
