Job Summary
Administer and execute human resource programs including onboarding, payroll, compensation, employee relations, investigations, performance management, and training. Provide day-to-day HR operations support for employee orientation, exit processes, benefits administration, leaves, and accommodations while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Screen and facilitate hiring for open positions, manage job offers and postings, and respond to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors. Attend disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, and review policies to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory changes. Maintain knowledge of HR trends, technologies, and talent management strategies. Report to the HR Lead and factory Director of Operations in an on-site role during regular business hours with up to 15% travel to other company factories.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, industrial relations, labor relations, communications, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Must be based in Austin, TX facility
- Must be available for remote support of Mesa, AZ facility
- Must be available for on-site position during regular business hours
- Must not have flexibility for remote or hybrid work
- Must be available for infrequent travel (to other company factories) of up to 15%
- Must acknowledge and agree that they will be solely responsible for any expenses incurred in relocating to the area if selected for the role
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, industrial relations, labor relations, communications, or related field (preferred)
- 3-4+ years progressive experience
- HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Paycom experience
- Ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems
