Job Summary
Oversee all daily HR functions for the Tampa location, including full-cycle recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding for local healthcare and administrative staff. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, conflict resolution, and performance management issues while ensuring strict adherence to Florida state employment laws and federal regulations. Coordinate with New York corporate leadership to facilitate local benefits administration, timekeeping tracking, and payroll processing. Maintain accurate personnel files and documentation to support company growth in the Florida market.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Deep knowledge of federal and Florida employment laws
- Proven ability to work autonomously as a lone on-site representative while maintaining strong communication channels with remote leadership
- 100% On-site (No remote option)
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare, telehealth, or high-growth startup environment experience is highly preferred
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a strong plus
