Job Summary
Greet guests within 10 feet, assist with shopping needs, and resolve issues to ensure a smooth experience. Support store leaders by anticipating talent and staffing needs, lead recruiting efforts, and advocate for continuous learning through team member and leader training. Manage scheduling systems and pay practices while delivering HR processes to maximize engagement and minimize disruption. Collaborate with leaders to address compliance policies, mitigate risk, and maintain a culture of ethical conduct and safety. Handle cash register operations as needed and work in varying temperatures and environments.
Required Qualifications
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds, without additional assistance from others
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
