Job Summary
Greet guests within 10 feet, resolve shopping issues, and close transactions with a sincere thank you while maintaining a positive attitude. Work with HR leaders to anticipate talent and staffing needs, lead recruiting efforts for store leaders, and support team member and leader training. Serve as an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices, listen to team members, and collaborate on actions as needed. Deliver HR processes and programs to maximize engagement and support compliance policies that mitigate risk. Handle cash register operations, lift merchandise up to 44 pounds, and remain mobile during shifts. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds, without additional assistance from others
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
