Job Summary
Greet guests within 10 feet, resolve shopping issues, and end every transaction with a sincere thank you to ensure a smooth experience. Collaborate with store leaders to anticipate staffing needs, lead recruiting efforts, and support team member and leader training. Serve as an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices while delivering all HR processes to maximize engagement. Listen to team members, address compliance policies, and maintain ethical conduct and safety standards. Accurately handle cash register operations and lift merchandise up to 44 pounds as needed. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds, without additional assistance from others
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
