Job Summary

Build and maintain effective working relationships with employees and leaders to provide advice and counsel on employee-related matters, serving as an employee advocate and coach. Monitor and proactively address engagement risks by driving employee engagement strategy with available data and tools, including employee surveys. Ensure compliance with applicable governmental regulations, Environment Health & Safety policies, and other regulatory requirements while managing the site as the HR focal for the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program. Partner with leadership to implement HR programs that support business goals, conduct internal investigations with professionalism and integrity, and identify opportunities to streamline site-level HR processes. This onsite role at RTX's Wichita Falls facility supports both salaried and hourly employees in balancing tactical execution with strategic initiatives within the aerospace and defense industry.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Person (lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, U.S. national, refugee, or asylee status)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8 years of progressive HR experience
  • Advanced Degree with 5 years of progressive HR experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly adaptable, agile, and able to manage evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional maturity and integrity in handling confidential information
  • Experience as a strategic HR business partner in a manufacturing environment
  • Commitment to positive workplace culture and ethical decision-making
  • Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at various levels without direct supervisory responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience improving processes for greater efficiency and organizational effectiveness
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw appropriate conclusions from data
  • Fluency in Workday and Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Onsite work primarily at the assigned facility (Wichita Falls, Texas)
  • Commute to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility
  • Ability to attend select steps of the interview process in-person

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA/MS/MA in Human Resources or related field
  • Experience as a DER or HR focal for an FAA Drug & Alcohol Program
