Job Summary
Lead an established HR team and execute daily operational tasks while designing a 90-day success plan to stabilize department operations. Ensure strict compliance with all California employment, wage, and hour requirements, and manage complex workplace investigations and employee relations. Optimize the Rippling HRIS platform to eliminate manual paper processes and partner with field operations to support skilled trades technicians. Provide direct, detailed, and context-rich reporting to the executive ownership team. This role reports directly to the CFO at a premier, family-owned home services company in Southern California, where the team is driving digital transformation and regional leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Significant hands-on HR experience within California
