Job Summary
Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, retention, employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll processing. Manage the receptionist desk for staffing and customer service while conducting interviews, pre-employment screenings, and coordinating onboarding. Maintain organized employee files, ensure wage structure compliance, and support payroll management and scheduling training. Coordinate new hire orientations, employee benefit enrollment, and recognition events. Conduct exit interviews to identify trends and develop action plans. Report injuries timely for workers compensation, attend required hearings, and convey corporate ethics standards. Maintain accounts payable information as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in payroll and human resources
- Must be detail oriented, able to appropriately prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees
- Successfully meet deadlines while working in a demanding, fast-paced work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required
- Experience with time clock and payroll systems such as Paylocity and Smartlinx
- Proven experience in human resources leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare setting
Desired Qualifications
- SHRM certification or equivalent highly desirable
