Job Summary
Serve as the primary HR contact for all hotel employees, guiding relations issues with professionalism and partnering with leadership to enforce consistent policies. Manage full-cycle onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and system setup, while maintaining accurate employee data in HRIS systems like Paylocity. Conduct regular compliance audits for I-9s, certifications, and safety training, ensuring adherence to federal and Colorado state labor laws. Track employee leave for medical, FMLA, FAMLI, and parental purposes, coordinating with payroll and benefits teams for accurate processing. Lead employee recognition initiatives to strengthen morale and retention, participating in cross-functional projects to improve the employee experience.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of HR experience
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and compliance best practices
- HRIS experience
- On-call availability during select weekends as needed
- Regular computer use
- occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive background check

Desired Qualifications

- Spanish fluency (written and spoken)
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
