Job Summary
Coordinate human resource processes including recruiting, new hire onboarding, and data entry into the HRIS. Maintain personnel files, conduct new hire orientations, and verify I-9 documentation for all employees. Assist with background checks, recruitment interviews, and the out-processing of terminated employees. Research employment verifications, process benefit program requests, and support the training department with scheduling and tracking. Participate in HR compliance audits and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations. $23.00 hourly rate; Associate degree in Human Resources required with three years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Human Resources or related field
- At least three years' related experience
- Working knowledge of Human Resources principles, practices, and procedures
- Understanding application of basic employment laws
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or related software
- Ability to learn and become proficient in the operating HRIS
- Ability to lift or move products and supplies, up to 25 pounds
