Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator supports Sonesta’s Culture of Caring by assisting in the delivery of HR services that meet employee needs and enable business success. Responsibilities include overseeing hiring processes, benefit administration, leave management, and onboarding. The role requires administrative support such as data entry, record maintenance, and responding to associate requests. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, strong interpersonal skills, experience with HR systems, and an understanding of employment laws.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Hospitality Management or related field
- Prior experience in hospitality, service industry, or unionized environments
- Exceptional ability to build consensus across entire property
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
