Job Summary
Human Resources Coordinator to lead HR function and manage workplace health and safety programs for Onsite Sign Group Inc., serving Alberta and Saskatchewan. Responsibilities include full-cycle HR (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, offboarding), employee records compliance (employment standards), employee relations, policy development, training, as well as developing and monitoring health and safety programs, safety audits, toolbox talks, incident documentation, COR certification efforts, and maintaining OHS documentation. Requires 3+ years HR experience, knowledge of Alberta/Saskatchewan employment standards and OHS regulations, a related degree/certificate, and strong communication/organization skills. Travel between Alberta and Saskatchewan and occasional field-site visits required. Proficiency with SharePoint and MS Office, plus a Class 5 licence and reliable vehicle. Travel allowances and benefits offered; references required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; experience in construction, signage, or trades preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Alberta and Saskatchewan Employment Standards and OHS regulations.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- CRSP, NSCO, or equivalent OHS certification is considered a strong asset.
- Proven ability to develop and enforce health and safety policies and training.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally between Alberta and Saskatchewan.
- Proficient with Sharepoint and MS Office.
- Class 5 licence, reliable vehicle, and a clean drivers abstract.
