Job Summary
Provides operational HR support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, HRIS administration (UKG), benefits support, employee relations, and policy guidance. Serves as a primary point of contact for routine HR matters, supports compliance with ESA/OHRC/AODA, coordinates training, maintains confidential employee records, prepares HR documentation, and assists with payroll/benefits administration and HR analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of progressive HR coordination or generalist experience
- Satisfactory passing of a criminal record check/vulnerable sector check
- Provide proof of Immunization and TB records
Desired Qualifications
- CHRP designation preferred
- Minimum 2–4 years of progressive HR coordination or generalist experience
- Working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation (ESA, OHRC, AODA)
- Experience using an HRIS and supporting payroll/benefits administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS/UKG experience an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a start-up environment
- Satisfactory passing of a criminal record check/vulnerable sector check
- Provide proof of Immunization and TB records
