Job Summary
HR Coordinator at CERN within the HR People Experience and Engagement team. Act as the main HR point of contact for graduate and student populations across client departments, providing expert advice throughout the contract lifecycle. Collaborate with HR colleagues to deliver back-office services, handle staff actions and queries across HR processes (e.g., performance management), streamline procedures, contribute to data-driven reporting, build stakeholder relationships, deliver engaging HR topic presentations, and participate in HR projects. Requirements include a Higher Administrative diploma or equivalent HR experience, extensive HR experience in an international setting, strong employee relations, customer service, and office software skills, plus English proficiency with a commitment to learn French. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement in Geneva, with a limited-duration contract (3 years) and potential for extension, relocation support, a comprehensive benefits package, and 40-hour weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Administrative diploma or equivalent relevant experience in HR Administration or related field
- Experience in HR in an international environment with multitasking and shifting priorities
- Ability to assess HR situations independently, evaluate options, and escalate when needed
- Technical competencies: Employee relations, Customer service, Use of office software packages
- Behavioural competencies: Communicating effectively, Working in teams, Demonstrating accountability, Achieving results, Managing self
- Language skills: English (spoken and written), commitment to learn French
