Human Resources Business Partner

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HR business partner role
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and employment law
• Experience supporting or advising managers and employees across various departments or business units
• Strong documentation skills with a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, timely, and compliant records related to HR processes, employee interactions, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEO
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to other onsite locations as needed

Desired Qualifications

• PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification strongly preferred
• Experience in a multi-site or matrixed organization
• Familiarity with leave of absence administration (FMLA, short-term disability, etc.)
• Previous experience in trucking and logistics/supply chain environments
