Job Summary

HR-minded professional who will execute the company’s HR initiatives and serve as the primary HR contact for the region, partnering with restaurant management to advance goals. Responsibilities include managing employee relations, conducting field investigations, ensuring legal compliance, providing training, coordinating payroll-related activity and audits, supporting recruitment and onboarding for management and hourly staff, handling ethics and employee complaints, and collaborating with corporate HR, regional leadership, and external partners to address regional HR needs. Strong emphasis on communications, investigation and counseling of management staff on employment issues, and adherence to company policies and federal/state laws.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two years’ experience (restaurant, hospitality or retail preferred) or high school diploma with at least five (5) years progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Familiar with employee relations concepts, practices and procedures in the restaurant/hospitality/retail industries
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to follow-up on details.
  • Good computer skills with knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish (preferred, but not required).
