Human Resources Business Partner

Job Summary
Consult with local and regional leaders throughout Missouri to identify and resolve organizational issues, proposing solutions while representing the employee perspective. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance on coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions across employee relations, change management, and performance assessment. Manage complex employee relations investigations, including discrimination and harassment claims, and drive inclusive culture initiatives using data and industry best practices. Assist with business unit restructures, workforce planning, talent reviews, and succession planning discussions. Facilitate labor relations initiatives to ensure compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and NLRB legislation, including contract preparation and negotiations. Maintain business literacy regarding financial positions, midrange plans, and competitive landscapes while staying current on HR legislation and trends. Work onsite in the Kansas City office with up to 20% travel, on a hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days remote.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or similar discipline(s)
- Minimum of 7 years' Human Resources experience
- 3 years' direct experience as Human Resources Business Partner

- Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in order to meet individual goals and deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and display a positive attitude for this dynamic environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to travel up to 10-20%
- Position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days remote) following onboarding
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce
- Experience providing HR services in a Union environment
- SPHR/PHR Certification
