Job Summary
Build trusted relationships with leaders across the organization to align people strategies with business objectives. Partner on recruitment, succession planning, workforce development, and performance management while coaching managers on employee relations and change initiatives. Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, coordinate learning and development solutions, and assist in developing and maintaining HR policies. Ensure compliance with employment legislation, support the Health and Safety Coordinator, and use data-driven insights to recommend solutions that improve organizational performance. Facilitate culture-building events and employee communications while managing attendance and return-to-work processes. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and strategic business acumen, reporting to the Vice-President of Finance, People and Community. Applications are accepted until September 2, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, a related field, or possess demonstrated equivalent experience
- Five to eight years of progressive HR experience, including experience supporting leaders as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Experience coaching leaders and managing employee relations matters
- Experience supporting organization change initiatives
Desired Qualifications
- CPHR designation (or working toward designation)
- Experience in labour management in a unionized environment including negotiations, grievance arbitration, and administration of collective agreements
