Job Summary
The HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic HR partner to operations leadership across multiple locations within a restaurant franchise group, driving employee relations, HR process development, compliance, talent management, and organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance management, engagement, retention, workforce planning, and career development), conducting investigations into policy violations and workplace concerns, guiding managers on disciplinary actions and coaching conversations, developing and implementing HR policies and best practices, ensuring legal compliance across locations, supporting engagement and culture initiatives, analyzing HR metrics to drive improvements, assisting with open enrollment, benefits, performance review cycles, engagement surveys, and compensation planning, delivering HR-related training, auditing practices for consistency, and partnering on succession planning and change management. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent HR experience), 5+ years in HR roles with multi-location experience, strong knowledge of labor laws, experience handling employee relations investigations, coaching managers on performance and compliance, developing or improving HR processes, proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office, and the ability to travel to field locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent HR experience will also be considered
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in an HR Business Partner, Employee Relations, Talent Management, or similar HR leadership role
- Experience supporting multi-location operations environments
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws
- Experience conducting employee relations investigations and managing sensitive workplace matters
- Experience coaching managers on performance management, employee relations, and workplace compliance issues
- Experience developing or improving HR processes, procedures, and programs
- Proficiency with HR systems, reporting, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel to field locations as needed
