Job Summary
Build strong relationships with Executive Directors and clinical leaders to serve as their primary HR advisor on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning. Translate complex HR data and legal considerations into strategic recommendations while auditing practices and improving Affirmative Action programs. Maintain a best practice of visiting assigned facilities 3–4 times weekly to stay connected and visible, supporting onboarding, development, and change management across Ventura, Santa Barbara, and surrounding counties. This role requires 50–75% travel, including quarterly trips to Alaska, and demands 4+ years of healthcare HR experience.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience in the healthcare industry
- Experience with Workday
- solid understanding of federal and state labor laws
- Willingness and enthusiasm to travel regularly: 50–75% road and air travel, including 3–4 on-site facility visits weekly
- Pre‐employment criminal background screening

- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
