Job Summary
HR Business Partner to align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units at Arcadia Cold Storage. Partners with the HR function to deliver value-added service, maintaining knowledge of the business unit’s position and culture. Responsible for analyzing trends with operations management, managing employee relations and investigations, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing day-to-day performance guidance, supporting recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and timekeeping, and driving engagement. Performs HR policy guidance, training evaluation, and communications to employees; advocates for safety and OSHA compliance; serves as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, recruiting, and learning and development, and supports the facility’s social and informational communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years' prior experience as a Human Resources Generalist
- Ability to resolve complex employee relations issues
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Must be able to work in a matrixed-reporting environment
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams or related software
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
